Whatever, I just wrote a nice long entry and it wouldn't upload. Now I have to start over.

Emmy Lou Harris has a nice thick head of hair. I hope one day I have silver hair. Do you think it's a wig? I say no. She's so cool.

Today my parents are coming to visit. Should be at least interesting. Could be fun. Then for tonight my sister invited me to a Halloween party with her dumb friends. It will be fun, although Dave is bad at providing mixers. I should bring my own liquor. I won't know anyone, and I won't be Clued in to the inside jokes. Whatever. I'm Mrs. White from Clue, my sister is....someone else from Clue, and Ron, her fiance if you will, is Mr Green. My sister is Nicole, for the none of you who read this. Ok, I said a lot more in my original post but this seems to do the trick.

What is this, my journal? I'm supposed to talk about concerts and music or art and fun things to do, but I'm talking about a Halloween party. Hey, I'm late for work now. Thanks me, way to go.

Don't even TRY to say my cat isn't the best of cats. Better than Xerxes the Conquerer, better than Tigger or Tom or any other legendary cat. I mean he's no dog, but he is some cat. I only wish I could show you the pictures. What a trooper.
He basically looks like this, but this isn't him and it doesn't do my cute cat justice.

And, I've been thinking that I really feel bad about the Neanderthals. I mean, we did share a common ancestor with them (ie Homo erectus). Yeah, I said it. Homo, erectus. Well, I'm just saying we probably shouldn't have killed them off, which I'm sure we must have done. Do fish spur brain development? We basically rid ourselves of an ability to improve our genes, and we isolated ourselves as the only hominid species. Bummer. Now we'll never know who was better in the long run. Maybe Neanerthals could have discovered things we still don't even know about. Jeez we're such assholes!
